Iphone xs max sleep mode restarting

OK, so has anyone else been experiencing a restart bug with the new Iphone XS Max ? Since day one that I got the phone, whenever I leave it along for more than a couple hours the Iphone will begin to reset every hour or so. I'm aware that this is happening btw, because it shows up in the Iphone analytics as a reset-counter, every time it happens. Not really a horrible issue, as it is an annoying one. But didn't know if anyone else was dealing with anything similar and/or if its possibly got to do with IOS 12 on the new phone.

Hello Xeratiel,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand that your iPhone XS is restarting when it has been in sleep mode for a while. I would recommend reinstall iOS on the iPhone. The second link below will walk you through that process. You should select the "Update" option when you get to that point and this should not cause a loss of data. But to be on the safe side, take a look at the first article and make sure you have a current backup before you reinstall.

Best regards.
