I recommend trying to log into US Bank using another browser, i.e., Chrome or Firefox. If it works with either of those browsers then it's a problem with Safari 12 and you should consider posting feedback to Apple.

It works in Chrome and Firefox, but it's an annoyance I would like to see go away.

It sounds like the web site may be down. If it isn't working by Monday, try contacting the bank.
