how do you invite multiple people to a activity challenge?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here. It sounds like you're interested in using your Apple Watch to compete with your friends.

With iOS 12 and watchOS 5 you can compete with your friends in a seven-day competition.

Cwalms,

Thanks for reaching back out. When you start a competition you can add up to 40 friends and use Activity Sharing to view each other progress. To compete with friends, you need iOS 12 and watchOS 5 or later. Activity Sharing requires iOS 10 and watchOS 3 or later.

This is exactly what I’d like to do as well. It doesn’t seem like we have the ability to set up a group challenge similar to Fitbit. Hopefully it will be an option in the near future.

Thanks Alex. What I’m really wondering is if there is a way to invite multiple friends to the same challenge, like Fitbit does, so everyone can see everyone else’s score not just individual challenge scores. Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks again. - Chris

This didn't work. I invited my friend to the competition and it didn't give me an option of adding anyone else to the same competition. Can you explain, please?
