Why can’t I make Group FaceTime calls?

i tried to use the + sign in the FaceTime app and every time I add a secondary person it turns gray instead of blue and won’t let me call more than 1 person.

Actually, I have not had any problems. See this, Use Group FaceTime on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support Group video FaceTime requires an iPhone 6s or above. If you have an older device you can only use FaceTime audio, and all of the devices involved in FaceTime have to be on iOS 12.1.
i can’t call more than I person on FaceTime could you please fix that

I have an iPhone 6s pluse and I have updated it to 12.1.3 and I can’t add more than one person to my FaceTime calls
This is wot I get when making Group FaceTime , both of the other phones are 6 or above and mine is an 8 all on the correct iOS
All parties involved in the call must have the new 12.1 update for the Group FaceTime to work.
