Watch OS 5.0.1 Watch won't wake on wrist raise

I updated to latest watch OS and now the watch will not wake when I turn my wrist up or raise my arm. I have check the Wake Screen settings and have toggled each one on and off to see if any would affect it. To no avail. Is there a new bug introduced in 5.0.1 that affects Wake Screen orientation detection.

My Watch is an Version 2.
