Hi,
Has anyone else experienced this that Keynote or Illustrator or any other work files cannot be previewed in macOS Mojave? PDF files and images are previewing fine... Also, any file saving dialogue takes a lot of time to appear now, any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!

Oh, this is so embarrassing... I had to restart the computer and it started working 🙂
Recent Adobe Illustrator files are now PDF, and Quick Look on Mojave handles those well, just like it does the sample keynote v8.2 slide that i just made. I also had no issue with a 2016 Illustrator .ai file. Can you expand on what “any other work files” implies?
Interesting. I have 55 .ai files, from where they came I know not. None of them show a preview in the Preview pane of the Finder nor will Quick Look open when I select them and press the space bar.I don't have Illustrator installed.
I just dug out an Illustrator 8 .ai file from 2007, and Quick Look on Mojave imaged it correctly. I can successfully Quick Look Word documents from 2006 - 2008 (Office 2004). A Powerpoint slide from 1999. An .epsf file, and Photoshop .psd file from 2002. A 1995 Word document from my old Powerbook 540C does not view in Quick Look because it was created in Word 6 for Mac.
Do you have Illustrator installed?
I cannot preview Illustrator CS, Sketch, Keynote, Pages, PowerPoint, MS Word, Mindnode. I can preview Google Sheets/GDoc. Also, the thumbnail view does not generate previews even for files it can preview (pdf, gif, png)
