Guided Access disable screen sleep

We have 9 ipads that we use on our production floor, we keep them in guided access because lets face it, we don't want them messing around instead of working. Mid last week, I took them down because we were doing inventory and I updated all of them to IOS 12, and when I came in yesterday morning, I noticed that the screens were turned off. Guided Access should not put the screens to sleep, but they are. Is there a way to prevent the screens from going to sleep?

That was the first thing I checked after I discovered they were doing that. They were all set to never when I set up the iPads for the production floor in February, because I did not realize at the time Guided Access disabled the screen sleep.

Same issue with my 6 ipads deployed. Updated to 12.1. Use Guided access on top of Kiosk Pro. Screen turned black after few minutes. 😟

Mirror Display Auto-Lock is available in iOS 12.1.1.

It is nested under the Guided Access Settings.

Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Guided Access -> Mirror Display Auto-Lock

Great, so now I have to drive to 12 sites and change the guided access settings on a bunch of kiosks. Thanks a lot Apple!

Last week an update was released but this issue has not been solved on mine, can you confirm it still occurs on yours too ?

Same issue here. I just updated to 12.1.2 and still having issues. Devices stay on when NOT in Guided Access Mode same as everyone else is experiencing.

You are mistaken the "Never" is set but it still will sleep the screen if it is on Guided access mode

This works for the display to stay on but the Wi-Fi still turns off after 20 minutes. I need the Wi-Fi to stay connected all the time.

It looks like ios update: 12.1.3 took care of my wi-fi issue now too. Terrific! Now hopefully Apple doesn't break it again.
