Stuck on please wait while boot camp assistant is removing the partitions it created

Hi, I was trying to create a windows bootcamp. While I was away from the laptop, the boot camp assistant decided it could not create the partition, and it is now removing the partition it created.

I am stuck here (see screen shot) for quite a while.

Is there anything I could do to resolve this?
