iPhone X facial recognition while wearing ski goggles & helmet?

I'm looking at upgrading my phone to the iPhone X and realized that there might be an issue using the facial recognition feature while I'm skiing. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is there a work around to keeping your phone secure but able to use when your face is covered up?

I feel like there has to be a solution rather than taking off my goggles and mask every time I want to take a photo, which I do a lot while skiing.
