Have two iphones-one with a Registered number and Account, in the U.S.A. with Service thru ATnT and the Other has Registered number n Account in Mexico, with Service provided thru ‘TELCEL’. Somehow, when a ‘contact’ on the U.S.phone-sends a TXT or CALLS to THAT phone, the ‘Mexican‘ phone RINGS SIMULTANEOUSLY!!?! Can this weird syncronization be stopped?

That could be due to both devices being signed into the same ID as well. You would need to go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive, and see what number/Apple ID is listed on each device. Make sure that only the number for that device is checked. Also, check Settings>Messages>Text Message Forwarding, and see if you have something turned on there as well.

Are you logged in with the same Apple ID on both devices? If so, check Settings>Phone>Calls on Other Devices.

Hi Chris-thanks for your reply-YES!!his phone WAS set to Receive 'calls from Other Nearby devices when on WiFI'etc.!
It was on 'green' enabling it to do so, so we turned the feature OFF! and THAT worked to Stop the Calls from getting thru to BOTH phones, THANKS SO MUCH! but TXT MESSAGES are still getting thru to Both! Now what??
OMG!YOU ARE AGAIN CORRECT! his Mexican account phone does indeed show his American acct phn num, but HOW do we REMOVE THE AMERICAN phn num an then put-in THAT phones (his Mexican local #) for That phn??
