Unable to update

I have multiple updates in the app store waiting to be installed. When I try to download them, it pops up with my old apple ID that has been locked and not in use for a few years. It won't allow me to type in my current ID to download the updates. Anyone know a way to fix this?

MacBook Air, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6), Early 2014 model

Delete and redownload the applications you’re trying to update.
