Itunes cant read IPOD Shuffle Anymore

ITunes used to see my IPod and my daughters iPod buy after taking a break from ITunes it can no longer. Using Windows 10. Spent hours following all tips from Apple Support. My computer does see both iPods but iTunes does not. Updated. Went into device manager..common files...apple. There is no mobile support device just two other apple files. Tried all USB ports...different cables...just purchased apple Itune card and ready to sync my playlist. Now I deleted iTunes....all files restarted computer...redownloaded and no help.. Reinstall latest version and you can now see my pink iPod on portable devices and even mobile device file in common files apple and hard drive, but when I try to open iTunes it says that I have to uninstall previous versions only option and then it deletes the mobile device file and back to square one all over. Apple Support I have spent hours and looked at all your replies. Help me solve this...is this a windows 10 issue... download from Microsoft store only option from Apple. Computers sees ipod shuffle. You have my $ I need ur help. Thanks
