App access request only half visible

Hi I've just upgraded to an Iphone XS Max and I'm having problems with the app access request. When I first use an app on the phone and it wants access to photos etc a box comes up asking whether I want to grant it access (to photos, microphone, camera etc). However, only half of it is visible with the other half off the screen (see screen shots below). This also happened with apple two factor authentication.

I've search to see if this is a known bug for IOS 12 but I've not found anything yet. Is this happening for others?

Good morning darrensp,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I can see from your screenshot the issue you are having with the notification/verification boxes being cut off in your display. A couple of things I would suggest:

Restart the iPhone
Change the orientation to landscape (sideways).
If you have increased the size of text, try reducing it to see if these text boxes appear normally. - Change the font size on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
