General Mojave Bugs

Hi, I'm getting some weird general bugs in the latest OS.

First, whenever I go to save a picture - does not matter which browser - I get the beach ball, and it freezes the system up for around 10 seconds before I can proceed. This was never an issue with High Sierra. Running a 13" 2017 Macbook Pro.

Also, whenever I open certain applications, they cling to the dock and don't want to go away. Even after I close the program, I'll have to go to the dock and select "remove from dock" every single time. Not a huge deal, but very irritating.

Thank you for the dock advise, that solved that problem.

The problem with the pictures downloading (or uploading) I have no idea. It doesn't matter which site or browser it's in for me, could be Chrome or Firefox, doesn't matter. When I go to upload a file in Gmail it does the same thing. Very odd.

Open System Preferences > Dock and uncheck the last option.

As far as downloading pics, it may depend on the site.
