apple id : error description not available

I'm trying to log in to AppleID.apple.com with my @me.com account that I've used for years.

I can log in, and it asks to enter a verification email. It won't let me use my Apple ID, @me.com account to verify. It says I need to choose an @me.com account that is listed under my account--which I did.

When I try another email to complete verification and effectively update my Apple ID, which I don't care to do but am forced to, I enter the new email, get the code, enter the code and it says "Error Description Not Available."

Then it starts all over...

Yes. Both iPhone and Macbook. I've restarted them both. I've tried multiple browsers on both.

Hey!

After speaking with Apple Support for quite some time, I was told that my Apple ID was linked to another Apple ID (school email) and could not be verified until I remove that link from my other Apple ID. Once I removed my @me address from my school ID, I was able to log in and verify my @me ID.

Are you using Two-Factor Authentication? I'm confused about what is asking you to enter a Verification email? Can you clarify?

And you are using the https site, correct? (https://appleid.apple.com/#!&page=signin)

Yes, I'm using the link you posted.

I can pass the two-factor authorization. Right after I enter the code for that, it says "Verify Email Address" but it won't let me use my Apple ID as the email, and when I use another email to update it, it gives me "Error Description Not Found."
