How do I drag to select multiple photos at once in iCloud

Using Windows 10 and the Chrome browser, how do I drag or shft-select multiple photos at once in iCloud? The usual commands for moving and selecting files don't seem to work. I can only select one image at a time, which makes it impossible to deal with hundreds of images (without losing your mind that is).

I see other instances of this question having been asked but no solutions so far have worked.

Windows 10

Hi ToastyJackal,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand you'd like to know the key combination needed to select multiple, but non-consecutive photos from iCloud.com to download to your PC. I know it's important to be able to select and download more than one photo at a time; I'm happy to help. To select non-consecutive photos, hold down CTRL, and then click on the photos you'd like to download; when you've completed your selections, click on the iCloud download icon:

On iCloud.com, click Photos, and select one or more photos and videos that you want to download. Click and hold User uploaded file in the upper-right corner of the window. If you want to download your content as it was originally captured or imported, choose Unmodified Original. For JPEG or H.264 format — including edits, and even if it was orginally in HEIF or HEVC format — choose Most Compatible. Click download.

Set up and use iCloud Photos

Best Regards.

There is no way to do that in the current website functionality. Where are you wanting to download a large group to? There are some ways to do that depending on what your target is. For example, both the iPhone and the Mac have options to Download Originals. Also when you initially turn on iCloud Photo Library on a particular device or computer it downloads the entire library.
