Just had an automatic update installed, iOS 12.0 On to ipad air. Some app icons don’t show on home screen but are still listed in settings and can be reached, but not through home screen. How do I restore those app icons to the home screen?
iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 12
Swipe your screen to the left to see if any of the app icons start appearing.
If no joy,
Then, try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
If still no joy,
Go into Settings App, General, Reset and try the Reset Home Screen Setting option.
If that fails to work,
If you have a computer running the latest iTunes, you may have to do a complete backup and restore of your iPad.
