I want the original iPad keyboard layout

Does anyone know of a way or an app to change the key layout of the iPad keyboard to the original layout? I’m talking about where keys are placed on the screen. I’m talking about how iOS 12 swapped the smileys key and the numbers key in the bottom left corner. I’m talking about the stupid undo key on the numbers keyboard that sits between the space bar and the left ABC key. I’m talking all the other changes made to the key layojt when flicks were introduced, even if flicks are turned off. I want the original keyboard layout back. That’s what I was used to and since it worked, all these changes were unnecessary. At the very least, they should not have been forced.

There is absolutely no way to change this. This is a fixed UI element.

It is part of iOS 12.

Know one, but Apple, knows why they decided to change the position of these keys.

If you do not like this change in iOS 12, you can complain to Apple via their feedback page here.

You, also, have the option of seeking out another third party software keyboard from the iOS App Store, as well.

Why not look for a third party keyboard that has better features and enhancements, instead.

I have bedn using one called PadKeys for the past 3-4 years.

It has easier access to more common characters and symbols and has “I-beam” cursor navigation keys, as well.

Has great customer support, too!

That at is exactly what I’m doing here: "Does anyone know of a way OR AN APP..."

I'm hoping someone will point me to one that does exactly what I’m asking for, because I’m unable to find one myself. Most of the replacement keyboard apps on the App Store are about adding colors, or swipe to write, or improving predictive text. None of the ones I’ve looked at screenshots of show any actual key layout change. So either there’s no such app, or I’m unable to find one.
