I have a strange issue with screen time. I have set it up for my daughter to block all apps after 30min and it does block everything besides youtube! Anyone has the same problem? Already triple checked if youtube is somewhere in allow list but its not...

i was having the same issue. Snap, insta, YouTube and safari still available during downtime. And the time limit I set for social media apps was not working either. Tried a bunch of things, but what worked for now is to: Turn off screen time, go to “Settings”, “General”, at the very bottom of the screen select “Reset” and choose “Reset all Settings”. (This doesn’t lose any data.) Once phone has Reset go back and redo the screentime limits. When I did this at least snap, insta and YouTube were blocked during downtime like they should be. Safari still available. Not perfect but better than it was.
its also the same with ROBLOX game.
My kids know how to get around OurPact, so I would guess that most other kids could work that out too.
I have found ways to stop the hacks that are out there to get around it. Just got to research. Now if Screentime would only allow us to control individual apps I would be happy.
I took my 12 year old boys phone away 2 months ago. Next is the game system this month. 😁
I tried to block youtube once and it worked for me. Then I unblocked it and now it ALSO works all the time, a little too good.
I have the same problem and am looking for a way to block YouTube.
Yes! Same here. All the apps work exactly like scheduled apart from YouTube. Dear @apple - please help!
Try turning off and on screentime it was working for me, after that YouTube is blocked as any other app.

Try turning off Screen Time, powering off the phone, wait a couple minutes, then turn Screen Time back on and re-do all the settings. No promises (there's obviously something wrong with the code), but that worked my daughter's phone.
Oops, I just noticed you said 4+ apps. I have a 12 year ild ans a 15 year old. If it actually blocked youtube, I wonder if other appe will get blocked too. Also, Youtube can be accessed using Safari, which also cannot be limited on screentime restrictions.
I has this problem too, this issue was the block at end of limit setting was not synchronized between my device and my daughters iPad. For screen time to synchronize you need to activate iCloud Drive in your kids account settings!
This did not work for me. YouTube remains usable, as if it's on a safe list, but it's not.
Same here. All of a sudden screen time limit is not cutting my son of Youtube. It seems to be working on one of my sons phones but not on the others. This is frustrating.
