Nothing happens when I click on “View My Account”

I’m in iTunes and I want to go look at my purchase history, but when I click on “View My Account” nothing happens. I have the same problem whether I use my brand-new MacBook Pro or 4-year-old Dell PC. I don’t get asked for my Apple ID or password, and I’m not getting an error message. My internet connection is fine. I can’t think of any other causes. Anyone have any thoughts?

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities HobbesMama,

It sounds like you're having some trouble accessing Purchase History in iTunes on both your Mac and your Windows PC. Viewing your purchase history is an essential part of the iTunes Store, so I can see why you would reach out for help when you aren't able to access it. I'm happy to help you get to the bottom of this!

Do you by any chance see a Welcome screen when you open iTunes? This usually appears when you're opening iTunes for the first time on your computer, and you may need to get past the Welcome screen to be able to get to your purchase history. If you are seeing this screen but you aren't seeing a Continue button or an option to close it, try clicking anywhere inside of iTunes and then press the Enter key on your keyboard. You may also need to resize the window so that you're able to see all of the options.

If you aren't seeing a Welcome screen, try accessing your purchase history through the Store tab rather than selecting Account > View My Account:
  1. Select the Store tab located near the top of the iTunes window.
  2. Select Account on the right side of iTunes under the Quick Links section.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password when prompted.
  4. Scroll down to the Purchase History section and select See All.
If you still aren't being prompted to sign in to view Purchase History, it's possible there is a problem connecting to the iTunes Store. I recommend following the step listed here: If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or Apple Books .

Take care!
