Hi,
I have noticed that the sound from my XS ear piece stops randomly when playing music or when using the phone in loud speaker option during a call. Not sure of the reason for it. The only temporary fix avialble for it currently is to retart the phone.
Apple please look into the issue and help resolving it ar the earliest.

I was having this issue in my XS as well. I have restored my device via iTunes and it seems its gone now.
