What happened to the recovery partition on Mojave?

What happened to the recovery partition on Mojave?

Just updated and it's not there.

As VikingOSX stated, it doesn't show on the Startup Manager (Option Key). With the advent of CoreStorage, the Recovery partition doesn't appear on the Startup Manager screen. Same for APFS.


You can use diskutil to view the four Volumes in the Container.

diskutil ap list

I think it will list the Startup Container first. You should see Macintosh HD, Preboot, Recovery, and VM listed.
