so my hotmail account kept asking for my password literally every 5 seconds. To stop it I deleted then reinstalled the account. Afterwards, none of my notes were in the notes app. Can’t find anything promptomg me to reload them. What happened and how do I fix it?!

Did you sync your notes to iCloud? If yes, did you check if the option is still active in Settings/iCloud?
Thank you for the reply. I did sync notes with iCloud. Notes is listed as an app using iCloud. When I open notes, the Hotmail account doesn't even show up anymore. This is different than before. When I initiated this thread, the Hotmail account was listed, but had nothing in it. The really weird thing is that I have another iPhone that is linked to this one and the notes are there. The second iPhone also did not have the repeated prompts for the Hotmail password.
