Without a dongle the speed would be zero, you would have no Ethernet capability.
New MacBook Pros have not had Ethernet cards since 2012. You would need to purchase a Thunderbolt or USB-C to Ethernet dongle.

That make little sense. If there is none how could it have a speed?
The speed would depend on the dongle you bought. Look at the specs of the dongle and the Ethernet device you are connecting to.

New MacBook Pro doesn't have ethernet port. you need to get USB-C to Ethernet adapter.
As for Speed, it depends on your ISP capability.
