iCloud for Windows 7.7 doesn't recognize Windows 10

I have the same problem.

I've the same problem. Actually with latest Windows (1809) and unable to update from 7.6 to 7.7.

I seems a new version is available 261.1

Apple Software update still downloads 260.0

if you uninstall the earlier version, as I was forced to do in a windows "reset," you will not be able to install iCloud for windows again until they fix this issue

2 weeks now without Icloud sync and nothing happens to solve the problem from Apple. 😠

Still no updates on this? This is becoming a huge pain for me to not have iCloud installed on my business computer.

iCloud for Windows requires Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 (April 2018 Update) and earlier

Regedit change solves the problem

Looks like the problem is gone with today's update of W-10: KB4467708

This does not work on my computer.

It seems that folks that have your issue of it rolling back at the end needed to run the icloudsetup.exe as administrator. Try that once you make the registry changes mentioned.
