I am unable to get my emails double spaced so they are easier for my recipients to read as well as make them easier for me read to edit. I've looked hi & low within Mac email formatting, but there is nothing I can find. How on Earth can I get 1.5 or 2.0 spacing within my emails? Please help.

No. Mail has no controls to achieve any line spacing goal. I set a paragraph of text in Pages v7.2 to Georgia 16pt with line-spacing set to 1.4. When copy/pasted into a Mail compose window, all formatting was removed.

Word processing applications (and TextEdit) have settings to adjust line spacing. Mail does not, and if you attempt to copy/paste content from TextEdit or a word processing application, with your desired line spacing, into the Mail compose window, it will simply ignore it.

FWIW, you could compose the email in a word processor, save it as a PDF and attach it to the email.
I imagine the recipient would have to have their email client support double spacing and of course have it set even if you could set it locally.
