Lasso selection in pages

Hi there,

In preview, you have the option under markup to select a custom region using the lasso function. Is there any way you can get this or an equivalent in pages. Instructions for which settings to change or any recommendations for a 3rd party app that can do this in pages would be great.

This is useful for selecting a custom region and using it elsewhere in the document.

Any help appreciated
