Outlook.com/Hotmail Notes no longer Sync on iOS12

Ever since updating to iOS12, my Outlook/Hotmail notes have disappeared from the Notes app. The account is still set up, with the notes option turned on, and the notes exist within the account, but they do not appear in the Notes app. I don’t know if it’s a bug, or if Microsoft or Apple changed something. Can’t seem to find any info on it.

Ive tried using an iPhone XS and iPhone 6S, both with iOS 12 and iOS 12.0.1

My notes from my Notes app are missing? Any way to retrieve if deleted by hotmail? I need to retrieve notes from the notes app that are now missing. They may have been deleted when cleaning up my Hotmail account.

Gmail Notes disappeared after iOS update! I recently updated my iPhone to iOS 16, and when I went to Notes, I noticed that all but one of my Gmail Notes are no longer showing up on my phone, despite the fact that I've always had Notes synced to this Google account. I checked my email (because Notes usually show up as a label there, too) but the same thing - all but one are gone! Is anyone else having this issue? I've tried reaching out to both Apple and Google (how the hell do you talk to a REAL person!?!) and have heard conflicting information whether this is an Apple issue or a Google issue. Has anyone else experienced this? And, if so, do you know how to get Gmail Notes back. I had some really important Notes that I'd hate to lose!
