IOS 12 Guided Access Issue

Hello Apple community,

Since IOS 12 (12.0.1 included), the screen in Guided Access Mode goes dark after around 20 minutes.

We saw a lot of people complaining about it but there's still no solution.

Our business depends on this feature and we cannot work because of that.

We spent hours on the phone with Apple support but nobody gives us answers.

When will that be fixed??

Using Dark Mode I am visually impaired and to see my iPad I have to use a dark background with white text. In IOS12 all I had to do was use Smart Invert, and everything inverted, including web pages. Now with IOS13 and Dark Mode I am constantly switching from DM to Smart Invert - back and forth! It’s a mess! It can be black one second, then I get sudden flashes of bright white - blinding! How can I just get a black background permanently like I could in 12? My iPad is the only way I can read, so this is really important.

I just got the dark screen bug fixed after dealing with it for over a month. $1000 for a phone and the hardware is great too bad it’s useless being apple is too stupid to make the software any good.

Guided Access How do I trouble shoot guided access. When I start guided access it doesn’t allow me to make the whole screen gray. When I triple click the lock button to adjust, or end guided access, the movie movies to the far right bottom, and i’m only allowed to adjust the grayed out area on one side of the screen. 13 Pro Max, IOS 16
