So I went to go get iMovie on my 2015 MacBook Air, I am currently running the latest update, 10.13.6. When I went to click install, it said The whole iMovie cant download, check the purchase page to try again. So I did, same thing, telling me to check the purchase page while I was on it and trying. I even restarted and tried that, no luck. Im hoping to find some answers here, thanks.

I think for an install you can type in "iMovie app" in the app store search box in the sidebar. It will take you to the iMovie app icon in the app store. You can "buy" it there. The app will be free.

For information purposes, the latest upgrade is Mojave 10.14. You might try upgrading to that.
I am not clear as to whether you are trying to update iMovie or whether you are trying to install it initially.

Thanks for replying, and I am trying to install it, not update. 😟 I will see if I can upgrade to 10.14.
