Safari won’t recognize Java plug-in

Trying to play Pogo games, and suddenly Safari won’t run Java! Anyone else encountered this?

iMac, iOS 11.1

If you are using Safari 12, support for most plugins was dropped. Check Safari/Preferences/Websites to see if the plugin shows there.

I have same issue as others with Safari 12 not accepting Java plug-in. I do not have a back up to be able to reinstall previous version of Safari. Have tried installing virtual box, but also got an error message. Any suggestions? I have the same problem as others after updating to Safari 12. Java plug-in is not accepted. Safari won't open Web Browser page Updated Safari to Version 15.6 but not able to to get a web browser page. Help appreciated.

Can't open WSJ on Safari (iOS and MacOS) When I try to open the WSJ, I get message "Safari can't open page....too many redirects..." This is new as of 9/4/2020. WSJ opens fine with FireFox
