iPhone X camera freeze when zooming beyond 2X

I have the camera issue since the first month I got the brand new iPhone X. Camera shooting in photo mode will freeze and couldn't carry on for shooting when it zooms beyond the 2X.

I have been restoring the iPhone from iTunes (as well as from Recovery Mode) with few different software updates version since iOS11 to the latest in iOS12.0.1. I also tested many iPhone X (easily more than 60 units) in several countries at the Apple Store or authorized Apple shop, and all of them did not give me any freezing issue at all.

It's definitely not a software issue nor how you hold your iPhone while taking photo.

Sadly, the Apple Support seems not able to identify the issue. And only advise me to leave the iPhone X (which is still under warranty) for at least 7 to 10 days. The long turnaround time for a warranty iPhone X for such an issue is just unacceptable!

Unfortunately I still have not get any fix of the issue. I have gone to several Apple authorizes service providers here but none of them able to tell me the exact problem nor capable to fix the problem in a shorter turnaround time. They just adviced me to leave my iPhone X for at least 7-10 days for an unknown resolution that they not even know what are they going to do! I’m just couldn’t afford to have no an iPhone for more than a day.

And now my iPhone X is going to be one year old and will lose my warranty status soon. For the past eleven months, if Apple is responsible, sincere and acknowledging the issue, they should have either resolved with a software update fix, or provide a replacement set.

Apple and all its service providers should have a much better resolution time for such fix, especially for a device which is still under warranty.
