iOS 12

My wife downloaded 12 and my daughter’s contact and mine became the same in IMessage. So after reading that we are not supposed to share Apple IDs we setup new ones and did family sharing. The issue is still not resolved. Any suggestions?

iMessage merge issue - IOS 12 Our entire family was on one iTunes account and when I upgraded to IOS 12 all of their messages merged into one "streamlined" view. I read different suggestions on how to fix this and one option was to create a child's iTunes account for them and add then to family sharing. I did this and they are still all in one merged message. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is VERY frustrating. I can't send a message to my husband because I don't know if my kids will get it or if he will.

imessage problem Hi Everybody. My son and I share an Apple ID. We both have an iPhone 7 and we both updated to the latest IOS when it was first released. Until yesterday afternoon I could iMessage him and he could iMessage me. However now when we try to iMessage each other the iMessage goes to my wife - she has her own Apple ID. However, if I iMessage both my son and my wife in a group iMessage my wife and son will both get the message. It only happens when I try to iMessage him individually that it goes to my wife instead of my son. Please help. Thank you.

IOS 12 IMessage been sent/receive to all my family I have an AppleID which I share with my family. We upgraded to IOS12 and when we sent texts via IMessage they go to the wrong family member?

Thanks! I deleted the message on my wife’s phone and logged her out of her Apple ID and then logged her back in. It works now.

Did you sign out of all devices and force restart all the devices and delete the messages that got mixed up?
