The rationale of not having a native "window snap" or "aero snap" in mac os?

Hi Everyone,

I'm pretty sure this has been brought up time and again over the years, only to have people diverting to 3rd party applications as a solution. Could someone help me understand why Apple has decided to disregard having such a feature native in the mac os? There has to be a reasoning for this?

Thanks and Regards,

We are Apple users, as are you.

We have little insight and little input into the design and implementation decisions that Apple might make.

Here?

Consider a switch to Linux. Or maybe to BSD. I mean that quite seriously, too. Linux and the BSDs are built for folks that want to tweak and customize, and that often without bound.

If you’re going to be running macOS, then it’s going to work the way Apple’s thinks it should. And Apple is clearly not aiming at technical users as their primary market for macOS or iOS. (Which in many ways—and writing this as a technical user—is a good thing.)

Log your feedback, as has undoubtedly been suggested before.

Because the idea is horrible even on windows . Mac OS has had floating windows as the primary working model for ever.

Windows size to suit real estate and universal drag and drop is a function of the os. Fixed windows really frustrate

this work flow imho.

Personally don’t t know why the last few Mac OS iterations have even offered full screen aside to appease ex windows users.
