Problem when changing midi track sounds preset to other

Hello,

I have problems with my Logic Pro X.

Here is the example: I create chord pattern with guitar pro. I export it to midi file and then import it to Logic. Okay now I choose sound for the midi track from logic’s libary and I choose Chamber choir. Everything works and track is now Chamber choir. When I want to change choir settings from control window my problem is at hand. I can change tone, attack time and so on, but there are these four different choir styles ”Aa, Uu, Oo and Mm.” When I click, lets say ”Oo” but for some reason it only plays as preset: the first ”Aa”. Logic won’t let me change it. Same goes with many other sounds as well. With studio violin if I want violin play pizzicato it only plays as preset sound which is in this case staccato.

I would really appreciate if somene got solution for my problem

From what you describe, it has something to do with articulation settings. These are recorded together with the MIDI data, so to change articulation you have to select the MIDI events in question in Piano Roll, then right-click (on any of the selected notes) and select the required articulation from the Articulation drop-down menu (that's just one way of doing it, from the top of my head):

I guess the chamber choir instrument will have the respective modes "Aa, Uu.." displayed as articulations as well.
