The calculator used to pop up on the extreme left screen but doesn't anymore. Has it gone the same way as the calculator on the iPad? I found the calculator useful and miss it

Just to add, there's the Calculator in the Applications folder which you can add to the Dock and/or the Notification Center.
It sounds like you mean the one in the Dashboard. Press "fn + F12"
Thanks for that I pressed "fn + F12" and got an error message, however your comment made me look at Launchpad and sure enough the calculator is there. Thanks again for your swift response
You're welcome. As far as "fn + F12", make sure "Dashboard:" is set to "As Space" or "As Overlay" and not "Off".
