AFP on Mojave
I can't transfer files from my iMac 10.14 to Mac mini 10.13 using AFP.
iMac, macOS Mojave (10.14)
If the drive you are trying to share is formatted APFS, then it can only be shared over SMB. APFS does not support AFP.

Did the upgrade convert my drive to apfs without asking? I know Apple Filing Protocol was working before the upgrade. A warning would have been nice... I often dread upgrading Mac OS because of random issues like this caused by Apple deprecating and removing some functionality without warning. 😟 I just looked at my drive, which I am pretty sure was formatted using HFS and it's APFS now. 😟
I have just share it over SMB. When I try to transfer files it starts and then it drop out the connection.
Your startup drive should have been converted, but not sure if it would convert a mechanical drive.
