Review Apple ID Phone Number Error

Hello,

i have a second ipad setup with a different email address for my kid; this morning, I have this message below his username on the left side, “Review Apple ID Phone Number (1) >”. When I tap on it, it spins its wheels and nothing happens. I can access the Internet with Safari so not internet issue.

so I logged out of the “Apple ID iTunes & App Store” but when I tried to plug in my credentials, which I used to login here so I know they work, it comes back with “Verification Failed. There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server.” Btw, login out solved nothing re phone number review above 🙄

i cannot get the iOS update either, it spins its wheels and nothing pops up, so it’s still at 12.0 not 12.0.1.

i should mention I tried to used the Screen Time settings, just in case that’s related to anything since it’s a new feature. I disabled it again to no avail.

How can I overcome these problems? Thank you for your assistance. This is very frustrating
