Garageband was compatible with previous versions of iOS but doesn't seem to be so with Mojave. Will a new version of Garageband be coming out soon? I have a lot of work to do with it and I'm very frustrated that it doesn't seem to be working in Mojave!

On Mojave you have to allow GarageBand to access the internal Microphone.
In the System Preferences > Security & Privacy select the Microphone in the sidebar and enable the access for GarageBand.

What is not working for you?
Both Garageband versions I have installed are working for me - the older GarageBand '11, version 6,0,5, and the most recent GarageBand 10.3.1.
Which version do you have installed and what is the problem, when you open it?
I am using (trying to use) vs 10.3.1. It loads okay and brings up a previous file. When I try to record with just the internal mic nothing records. The same thing happens with other input devices. I re-installed the program without success. I even restarted the computer.
