When I go to settings on my iPhone 6plus the first thin is my name and under is Apple ID.... it is faded and when I click on it, it does not open. But does open on my iPad. What is wrong? Who can I fix it?

Before doing anything, go to Settings/Screen Time to see if any restrictions are in place. There may be a restriction preventing you from accessing that. See if you can remove it.
If you can't remove the restriction, you can do the factory reset, but don't restore the backup because that will restore the restriction.

I can’t either and reset doesn’t do anything. Nor did looking into content control help either. Please someone helo
thanks. Sounds scary. Especially after I looked it up on apple. back up then erase everything? then restore. Is that what you mean?
