Media Missing in FCP X Timeline

I moved an XML file from Adobe Premiere Pro to FCP X. When I load my main project into the Timeline, most of the clips do not show (i.e., the video is black.) When I click on a clip and the click on the Location in the file properties section, FCP finds it right away and I can watch the clip in the finder window that appears. I've tried relinking the file, but it still does not show in the Timeline. Any idea how I can make the clip show in the Timeline?

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014), macOS Mojave (10.14)

Do you think the extra dot in the file name has anything to do with it? For example, the file name for the media file above is 1_1.6.mov . Would it be a worth it and/or a potential problem to rename the file 1_1_6.mov and then relink? I ask because many of the files that do show do not have extra dots in the file name (e.g., David_walks.mov).

Please open the file in the QuickTime player and post a screenshot of the inspector window to give information on the media.

No. Doesn’t matter. What’s happening when you go through the relinking process? You’re selecting All in thecrelink window? You’re finding the file? You’re adding it? You’re clicking relink? What happens?

You brought an XML from Premiere. Did you use the utility to convert it?

Here is one of the media files. Most of them are numbered #_#.# to indicate scene_shot.take. Some of the media files that have names made up of words (e.g., David_walks_outside) instead of numbers that do show in the timeline.

What’s the exact specifications of the media? What FCP version is this? What OS are you using?

The media are QuickTime movies rendered and edited a long time ago in FCP 3. The FCP X version is 10.4.3. The OS version is macOS Mohave 10.14. Thanks, Scott

You can relink, but it still doesn't show up? I don't know why that wouldn't work.

I do all of that for a specific file, and the computer and drive work for a bit and then the clip does not show. I used the SendToX program to convert the XML from Premeire.

i assume you can’t see the video in the viewer either. I have no idea why this isn’t working. You might try dumping the cache files, but that’s an unlikely cause if it’s not in the viewer either.
