I have several fonts that are grayed out in FontBook and when you view the font info, they all say they are a "downloadable font asset" on the Location info line. They appear to be Asian font families, but I don't know how I got them. I want to delete them, but can't find a way. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The greyed out fonts are those that aren't installed yet but can be downloaded.
So there's nothing to delete.
They are part of fonts available with Mojave for download
e.g. Wawati TC Regular
Fonts included with macOS Mojave - Apple Support
I wouldn't remove them, they take up little space, and you don't see them in your font menu options e.g. if you are working in Word or some other app.
Okay, I understand, but is this something new with High Sierra? I don't ever remember seeing these before and I'd rather not look at them and wonder where they came from.
I really don't remember although I can check back to Snow Leopard. If you don't want to look at them close Font Book.
