Just to inform you that I have successfully installed El Capitan, Windows 7 and Mojave and i am so happy !!!!! 1st i had clone my bootcamp partition ( which i had installed with El Capitan and windows only) with winclone and save it in a usb external drive. Then i had partition my main ssd drive on the macbook pro into a single partition and start install El Capitan. Gone to Bootcamp and create the partition for windows but not install windows , just create it. Then plug the usb installer (which created earlier) choose Disk utility and + a new partition for Mojave. Exit DU and start the installation. After finishing go to El Capitan DU and erase Bootcamp partition ( erase not delete) Then open Terminal in El Capitan and delete the Recovery partition. That did the trick. After all this i double click the winclone windows image , which opens in winclone application and restore it in the bootcamp partition. That’s all
Once upon a time I triple booted my iMac with Linux, Windows and Sierra but that was before Mojave and the new format scheme. There are tons of articles on the Internet which describe how to do this (and most assume the same Mac *nix Win mix I had but adding another Mac OS to the mix doesn't change the basic idea). But I'd wait until someone reports success with Mojave before trying. There is one easy solution though. I'm triple booting my iMac right now using two hard drives. On the internal drive I have BootCamp and Mojave and on the external I have High Sierra.
And that's why I suggest waiting. Theoretically you can follow the instructions you've found online and after creating the partition for El Cap you can reformat it using the El Cap installer. Assuming you have a backup of Mojave and your BC installation, all you'll have wasted is some time if it doesn't work. 😎 Which, again, is why I suggested the external drive until some one else donates their time.
Yes i have seen a lot of tutorials but not seen something with Hfs Apfs and bootcamp.
