Ipad says it has an update, but won't let me update it. Stuck at 9.3.5

A1395 is an iPad 2. It isn't compatible with iOS 10 or newer. You do have the latest version.

What iOS version are you currently using? Which iPad model do you have?

Try all of these tips and leave each tip active together. Do not simply try every tip individually, expecting just one tip to be a performance “cure all”.

Anyway, I believe you wrote an article on things to turn off to speed up iPad performance. I'm too lazy to look it up. Why don't you post it here. That may help OP speed things up a bit.

MichelPM has an article on a few things you can turn off (such as background refresh) to help speed things up a little.

Nevermind.

There is no new update if it's running 9.3.5. You can try factory reset the device. Warning: you will lose everything! Back it up before factory resetting the device.
