After 12.0.1 update battery drain is high

Battery drain is really high right after 12.0.1 update.

Went from 68 % to 44 % within 10 minutes

iPhone 6s, iOS 12.0.1

Servo922, I'm afraid you are completely correct. My initial euphoria was a total triumph of optimism over reality. My battery is shot. With every possible setting off, the battery discharges in a ridiculously short time. Very disappointed with Apple: this replacement battery is only 4 months old - and of course now out of warranty. Apple geniuses completely unhelpful.

I just updated forcibly, because Apple updates automatically overnight, to IOS 12.1.4 and now I notice that I can't even charge my iPhone 7 battery up to 100% let alone the fact that it's been draining in a much faster way than before the "upgrade". Didn't Apple have this same problem last year? There is something fishy going on here and I suspect that they are trying to make me buy a new phone but this time I am seriously considering the new Samsung model....better battery better camera better price etc etc What a shame, Apple used to be in the cutting edge of innovation

You are absolutely correct, Apple must find ways of increasing their sales. Since the loss of Steve Jobs, NOTHING innovative have been released from Apple, except odd ball features on the “old” IPhone. And to add insult to injury , they are asking $1,000 for a telephone ???!!! This battery drain was not accidental, if it was, its more proof that idiots are running the company .

Just found the solution to the low life battery issue with the new iPhone update. Recommendation from Apple:

  1. Talk Faster !!
  2. Only use the phone in emergencies
  3. Use Public pay phones whenever possible
  4. Use wifi on your computer instead of your iPhone
  5. Do not use the iPhone in the mobile mode, only when plugged into a outlet
  6. Consider switching from the Apple iPhone to a competitive smart phone.
  7. Place duck tape over your mouth to limit senseless communications

Apple is ****. **** IPhone. I used Iphone untill now. These idiots are making intented action on software in order to drain baterry. Actually . Iphone`s lithium baterry is normal and its life is not affected by usage, but they make changes in every update possible. When u update, they **** ur baterry. Its all about money. **** apple. **** iphone`s. IPhone is a ****** phone, its only brand on them, never can compare Iphone with Samsung.
