Apple ID disabled

My phone updated the other night and the next day my phone keeps saying my Apple ID is disabled so now I can’t update or download any apps. I have spent hours trying to figure this out please help.... when I go to settings it says I am signed in to my Apple ID but still is disabled if I try to download anything...
