"Get Connected" notification

every time I open up the Apple Watch app on my iPhone, I get this notification telling me to "Get Connected" and turn on Bluetooth. Here's the rub: Bluetooth is always on on my phone, and also my watch is always connected, I don't have issues. So I'm curious why this notification keeps coming up. It's nothing more than an annoyance. Any thoughts?

Hey SorcererJoel,

If I understand correctly, the Apple Watch will disconnect from the iPhone, but still, be connected. One thing you may want to do is unpair and pair the Apple Watch to the iPhone.

Restart your Apple Watch and iPhone.

Unpair your devices, then pair them again

If your Apple Watch still can't connect, unpair your devices, then pair them again:

  1. On your Apple Watch, tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
  2. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app, tap the My Watch tab, then tap your watch at the top of the screen. Tap User uploaded file next to the watch that you want to unpair, then tap Unpair Apple Watch. Tap again to confirm.
  3. Pair your Apple Watch and iPhone again.

If your Apple Watch isn't connected or paired with your iPhone

I have the same issue. I open the Apple Watch app and get this message although the watch and phone are paired. Both have wifi and bluetooth turned on at all times. If I change the watch face using my phone, it changes it immediately on the watch. If I swipe to shut down the watch app on my phone and re-open, I get this same message pictured by the OP yet again.
