What the ****.... just bought a film on itunes and can watch it on my macair, but if i plug the projector in, it wont work!! Says that its not allowed.....

So, the message is pretty self-explanatory. The media is protected, and cannot be played on your projector. See jason269's response regarding this error in this thread: LCD projector won't play HD movie purchased on iTunes

You can contact iTunes Support: iTunes Support WorldWide, or you can click on the "Report a Problem" link in the email receipt that you were sent from iTunes for the purchase.

oh wait - just got this:
This movie cannot be played because it is on a display that is not authorized to play protected movies.
Try moving this window to a different display or disconnecting any displays that are not HDCP authorized.
I don’t get it - I can screen movies I didn’t buy from iTunes but I can’t screen movies that I did buy from iTunes??
So I’m never buying from iTunes again....

currently no error text...
the film plays except when the projector is plugged in.
Other films play fine.....
