Billing for Apple Music

so I asked this once and the answer didn't help me any. But I got billed for $9.99 for the apple Music and I'm under the family $14.99 plan. i unsubcribed for the 9.99 one after the august one so I didn't have the $9.99 one in September. So why was I charged for $9.99 in October? And $14.99? We Want the $14.99 one

Hello, kandi12!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here. It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with your Apple Music subscription and I'm happy to help get it squared away.

To start, I'd recommend reviewing your current subscriptions. This is going to be the easiest way to say for sure which Apple Music subscription you currently have active. To do that, you can follow the steps in the article titled View, change, or cancel your subscriptions . Ideally, we'd want to just see the family subscription there as far as Apple Music goes. It's also possible that you signed up for the Apple Music family subscription using a different Apple ID. If this was the case, you may see both charges on your bank statement but not on the same Apple ID.

If you have multiple Apple ID's or if anyone else in the family may have used theirs to subscribe instead, you can follow the steps in the article above to check their Apple ID out as well.

I hope that this information is helpful.

Have a great day!

Hi, kandi12,

It sounds like you've got it all squared away. When the original subscription was cancelled, you would continue having service until the end of that billing cycle. If you're not sure if that original subscription (the individual subscription) was cancelled, you may want to contact Apple for support and service to speak with iTunes Store support who can double check that for you.

Have a great weekend.

Hi so I found these things and screenshot them on my phone. But I didn't have Apple Music the whole month of September bc I canceled my subscription but I was billed for the month of Oct and wasn't asked if I wanted it turned back on. That's my issue i guess then my husband started family sharing and payed $14.99 but using his Apple ID but the 9.99 was on my Apple ID which I never wanted mine turned back on.
