FaceTime video freezing after 30 minutes

Okay, this is weird. I talk with my dad weekly using FaceTime and our calls can run well over an hour. Since the Mojave upgrade, I've noticed that the incoming video signal will freeze up about 30 minutes in. It does this every time. The audio remains and he can see me just fine, but his image is frozen. This isn't a huge bug, but it's super annoying.

Anyone have an idea what's going on?

My Facetime screen freezes Specs: Macbook Pro 2021 16-inch. Facetime works and the call quality is fine, but my picture is freezing when I am on a call, the recipient screen is fine, it is only my screen that freezes. It will work for a few seconds where I can see myself move and talk and then the screen will freeze for the entire duration of the call. I have restarted the laptop and force quit and restarted the app and call. Any advice?

Why does FaceTime always crash on my 2023 MacBook Pro? I've been so extremely disappointed that a main feature I got my MacBook for, FaceTime compatibility, is a hoax. I cannot talk on FaceTime in a group or private call for more than 2-5 minutes without the call dropping and saying "call failed." I can always see when the time is about to come because my video freezes for a moment and within seconds the call fails. I got this MacBook this summer.

FaceTime: no video, audio ok, camera ok Let me preface by indicating that the problem is only on my iMac (Monterey) and not on my other devices (iPhone, iPad). FaceTime: opening the app, I see an image of myself thus the camera is not the problem. Making or receiving a video call, I briefly see the other person's image which then disappears and m left with a grey screen with a triangle in the middle. The caller CAN see and hear me and but can only hear them. I'm truly stumped what can be nixing the video feed seeing that the camera is fine, my internet connection is good (my other devices have no problem) and the iMac is connected by Ethernet and wifi. Any thoughts? Thanks
